I manage a group of retail stores, they have fully remodelled two of them to a very high standard. Nothing is ever too much trouble they just do what’s needed. Interestingly they do more than construction too - we just had a water issue (today is Sunday and Auckland is in lockdown) we are an essential service and hello ! out they come and sort it for us. Outstanding service.

Bellroy Construction have carried out two jobs on two separate properties for me over the past 5 years. I have found them extremely knowledgeable as to what is required to achieve the end goal. Their advance and work ethic is of high standard with on site work being carried out quickly and efficiently. A further plus is that their tradespeople are able to cover a variety of work types required.
A notable advantage is that Bellroy Construction is a small family owned business and due to this is able to provide a more personal service.

We are extremely satisfied with the job done for us recently by Bellroy Construction.Their team are very accommodating and responded to every request that we had. Each of them is pleasant to work with, polite, patient and ready to go the ‘extra mile’ as it were. We ‘oldies’ appreciated the quiet way they went about their work with no loud music blaring out! Of note, is the innovative way they were able to deal with the unexpected which can pop up in a renovating job. The costing was very reasonable and meticulously documented by Michelle. Our old 60’s bathroom has been transformed into an accessible, modern facility!

I owned a property in Mt. Eden which I had started to renovate by designing and building an extension to contain the living, dining and kitchen areas together with a loft study over.
The existing brick and tile bungalow would serve as three bedrooms with bathroom and ensuite. I tried to complete the works with minimal bank borrowing so managed to build the extension and make it livable.
When other opportunities came up I needed to complete the work and get Code of Compliance certification to be able to sell the property in order to move.
I engaged Murray Hickson of Bellroy Construction to assist in completing the works which involved relining in the original house, stopping, fitting skirtings and architraves, fitting out the ensuite, completing the drainage work, relaying driveway, building a fence and numerous other small jobs to bring both parts of the house up to standard for both certification and selling.
Murray organized the various subcontractors required and was on hand to show the building inspector around for the final inspections, and carried out the minor items picked up in the course of the inspections.
The work was carried out in an efficient manner and workmanship was of high standard. A list of tagged work to be carried out was agreed and methodically worked through. A good understanding of the process for obtaining the code of compliance certification was also shown.
Without Murray’s help, I would have not completed the work on my own in as timely a manner, and I would have no issues with recommending his services to anyone considering embarking on a building project.

Murray Hickson was employed by our company in January 2002 to renovate a shop to the specifications we required for our new business.
With Murray’s professionalism he took on board what we were asking him to achieve and he came up with some excellent ideas to help us stay within our budget.
We found Murrray very approachable and his communication skills are of the highest standard. Even though other contractors let us down and our opening date was delayed, Murray sympathised with us and pulled out all stops to finalise his work on schedule.
Murray and his team were excellent workers and showed an eye for detail. I can say Murray is a perfectionist.
